The Ardmore Inn is a quaint Bed and Breakfast in Woodstock, VT. I was recently asked to judge the food competition for Maple Madness weekend, and was invited back to stay with Charlotte at The Ardmore Inn. Charlotte is the owner and Inn Keeper of the Ardmore Inn and she is an absolute delight. Everyday she makes the most incredible breakfasts, beginning with fresh coffee, squeezed juice, and a fresh baked pastry. Her scones are the absolute best as are her waffles, eggs, and everything in between. She started cooking once she owned the B&B but has had no formal training prior to The Ardmore, but she cooks with love and thats exactly what you taste in her breakfasts.
When I stay here, I enjoy staying in the Chris Bohjalian room on the first floor. This room is right off the living room and kitchen, but is very quiet. I enjoy hearing the cars go by (due to my NYC roots) and the room is spacious with a gorgeous bathroom. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything is clean, and themed after the author. The other rooms here are all upstairs and are just as cozy and beautiful. The amenities here for a bed and breakfast really are great, and include free parking, wifi, bath products, and soft linens. Accessibility is super simple while staying here because the inn is right in the middle of the busy little town. During Maple Madness weekend, I was able to walk to all the great little shops and eateries, where I discovered some great glass shops, card stores, and beautiful scenery. Everywhere you go in Vermont there is something beautiful to see. Between the rolling hills, greenery, snow topped mountains, and abundance of trees; it’s truly nature at it’s best.
If you’re seeking a wonderful stay at a quaint bed and breakfast in the heart of Woodstock, Vermont, then I absolutely recommend The Ardmore Inn. Charlotte will make your stay one of a kind and I guarantee you will enjoy each and every night here.
