Summer Cocktails with Califia Farms!

I recently discovered a great juice and cold brew coffee company. Califia Farms offers a wide range of healthier juices, cold brew coffees, plant milks, and creamers. Summer is the perfect time of year to enjoy cold brew as much as possible and that’s exactly what I did when I tried Califia Farms!

The Pure Black Unsweetened, Black Label Signature, Single Origin, and Black Mocha were my first favorites. I am a black coffee drinker typically, so I enjoyed each and every one of these delightful bottled cold brews. For those that enjoy a little milk however, the slightly sweetened cold brews with almond milk are absolutely delicious as well, and can be enjoyed a number of ways. If you want something a little different and with a bit of bubble, try the Nitro Brew Latte, made with almond milk and macadamia milk. They infuse a tiny amount of nitrogen to the brew to give it a soft playful bubble that creates a creamy mouthfeel and slightly sweet, effervescence experience.

Califia Farms also produces a line of juices consisting of some very fun flavors like Ginger Limeade, Strawberry Basil Agua Fresca, and Watermelon Ginger Lime Agua Fresca. The juices are vegan, BPA free, contain no GMO’s, are gluten free, and kosher. I was impressed with the flavor range as well as the low calorie count, which made these juices my go-to choice for some fun summer cocktails! Below are some of the recipes I enjoyed with these juices, as well as other spirit suggestions for you to create your own summer sips.

Ginger Limeade Kiwi-Rita:

3oz Patron Tequila

2.5oz Califa Farms Ginger Limeade

2 Kiwi Slices (1 muddled, 1 for garnish)

Lime Slice for Garnish

.5oz Agave Syrup

Method: In a cocktail shaker, muddle a slice of kiwi and then combine the Patron, Califia Farms Ginger Limeade, and agave syrup. Top with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled. Pour through a strainer into a glass and garnish with a kiwi slice and lime.

*The Ginger Limeade also mixes well with cucumber vodka, ginger liqueur, and white rum.

Ginger Limeade Stormy:

3oz Bruce Cost Original Ginger Ale

4oz Appleton Estate Rum

2.5-3oz Califia Farms Ginger Limeade

Black and White Irish Breakfast:

2.5oz Kerry Gold Irish Cream Liqueur

4oz Califia Farms Black and White Cold Brew

Star Anise (garnish)

*Bailey’s as well as Godiva Liqueur, Espresso Vodka, and Salted Caramel Vodka by Van Gogh also pair beautifully with this Black and White Cold Brew.

Strawberry Basil Sparkler:
