Summer Brunch Cocktails!

Summer brunch just got a whole lot better! How? With some fun summer sipping spirits to create the ultimate brunch cocktails… thats how!

Alizé Red Passion has become my new passion when combined with prosecco. This cranberry like passionate cocktail additive creates the perfect brunch atmosphere and is a great welcome cocktail everyone will love. It’s tangy, sweet, and tart which makes it perfect for many palate preferences. Here’s a quick brunch cocktail everyone will love:

1 oz. Gates of London Gin

.75 oz. Lime Juice

.75 oz. Simple Syrup

1 Rosemary sprig

Domaine Carneros® Sparkling Wine

Method: Muddle all ingredients. Shake and strain into a wine glass filled with ice.  Top with sparkling wine and garnish with rosemary sprig.

For those who enjoy refreshing summer rum’s and mojito’s DePaz Blue Cane Rhum Agricole is just for you. This multi-layered amber colored rum is full of smoke, vanilla, and some sweetness. Alongside this fun sipping and mixing rhum should be the DePaz Cane Syrup, which will make any mojito or cocktail sweeter. Here’s a fun summer sipper for your next brunch:

0.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

0.5 oz. Depaz Cane Syrup (SRP: $9.99)

0.75 oz. Pomm Wonderful

1.5 oz. Depaz Blue Cane Rhum Agricole

Dash of Angostura bitters

Method: Muddle the Bing cherries (remove pits) in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and the rest of the ingredients into the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Pour contents into a highball glass. Top with a splash of Taittinger Prestige Rosé Champagne (or Prosecco if you don’t have champagne).

IMG_0191Pair these with a vegetable fritatta, onion and gruyere tarts, pan seared chicken, or a arugula salad with poached egg, bacon, and light vinaigrette. This makes the ultimate healthy and happy brunch for you and your guests!
