Mumm Napa: The start of it all can be traced back to GH Mumm, the leading international champagne brand in France. Mumm was established in California in the late 1970s. Mumm Napa makes stunning sparkling wines using traditional wine making techniques of its French heritage to create fine, hand-crafted sparkling wines. Mumm Napa has a Brut Rosé (remember: Brut means dry) that is out of this world perfect for not only the 1st day of May, but also for your spring and summer sipping.
Here’s how to enjoy a weekend with this rosé: because this wine pairs well with so many types of cuisine, it can be a hard decision. Simply grab your slow cooker, some chicken wings (organic I choose), and some Busha Browne Jerk sauce, and you have yourself a very easy dinner. Slow Cooker Wings are my new thing, and they pair very well with Champagne, Rosé, and Sparkling Wines.
Busha Brown Jamaican Jerk Products are great for Slow Cooker Wings and add that authentic Jamaican flavor to any meal. The Honey Jamaican Jerk Sauce went deliciously with the Mumm Rosé and complimented the bubbles, bringing out some tart raspberry and fun floral notes. Alongside the wings was a Colored Carrot and Strawberry Salad with Sesame Oil and Black Sesame Seeds. The sweet strawberries tasted with the crunchy carrots and delicate but powerful sesame oil was a fun touch to balance some of the spice, and round out the bubbles.
All in all, a very successful pairing with a beautiful wine!
