On the strip inside the Palazzo is Morels Steakhouse and Bistro. It’s a beautiful restaurant with incredible chandeliers, an iced seafood bar,  and an award-winning wine list. It’s a great spot for brunch, lunch, and dinner where you will find house-made pasta’s, a “make your own” Bloody Mary Cart (brunch), and great outdoor seating.

I started off with the BRUSCHETTA & SMOKED MOZZARELLA: Baby Heirloom Tomatoes, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Sea Salt, and Fresh Basil. It’s a perfect share-able appetizer that’s absolutely delicious. Alongside the bruschetta was one of my longtime favorites, the CALAMARI FRITO: Crispy Calamari, with Spicy Pomodoro and a Grilled Lemon Wedge. Paired with these two appetizers was the Gigil Rice Pilsner which is actually produced by Verdugo West Brewing Co., located in Burbank and owned by MCC Hospitality Group, which also owns Morels Steakhouse & Bistro.

It happened to be a day in Las Vegas that was about 106 degrees, so sitting on the gorgeous porch was an option, I just decided to sit in the dining room instead. This is when I knew that I would be diving into the RIGATONI BOLOGNESE! It’s a fantastic dish with housemade rigatoni, ground meat, carrots, celery, tomato cream sauce, and topped with fresh ricotta cheese. It’s a large pasta dish that’s great to share if you also get an entree. Alongside was also the WILD ALASKAN HALIBUT PROVENÇAL, with wine braised tomatoes, preserved lemon, Herb d’Provence, and crispy potato. This is one you can not miss, especially when paired with the Walter White Cocktail!

“There are both wet- and dry-aged steaks on the menu as well as a delectable array of desserts ranging from a trio of crème brûlées to an assortment of gourmet macaroons. The menu also includes a myriad of tasty and colorful handcrafted cocktails only available at Morels. All of this can be enjoyed from patio seating overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, and private dining rooms with banquet facilities are also available. “ -Morelslv.com

Morels is conveniently located on the strip off of Las Vegas Blvd, wherein the private dining rooms you can actually see the iconic street sign. It’s a great spot if you want to relax with some drinks and appetizers on the porch, or if you’re seeking an elegant and more modern take on a steakhouse experience. Overall Morels is a restaurant you will want to taste and experience when in Las Vegas!
