In Providence, Rhode Island lies a little brewery with a rotating beer menu that brews up some of the best beer! “Long Live Beerworks passion is to create great beers and real ales for their awesome neighbors in the smallest state” – Long Live Beerworks. This microbrewery is one of the only ones you will find in Providence, RI and luckily for Rhode Islander’s you get to taste here frequently! This brewery and tasting room is home to some hop forward brews for people that enjoy well crafted and flavorful beers.
At Long Live Beerworks, they believe you should be able to have good draught beer anywhere – not just at your favorite pub. Rhode Islander’s and surrounding state neighbors can come back often to taste the regularly rotating selection of brews that even include special run cask-conditioned ales and seasonal tasting events.
Tastings are $10.00 for a 12 oz. tasting + souvenir glass, but because you will want to come back often, the tastings are $6.00 if you already have a glass! I tasted through the Bricks and Mortar, Black Cat Pale Ale, and the Lil’ Sippy Session Ale. The beauty of Long Live is that if you do come back often (and you totally should) you will have the opportunity to taste different beers almost every time you return. My favorites were the Bricks and Mortar American Brown with it’s comforting cocoa nib undertones and the Lil’ Sippy Session Ale, which was a beautiful spring/summer tasting beer; light and citrus driven.
Be sure to stop by Long Live Beerworks for some rotating brews, a growler of your favorite beer to go, and some friendly Rhode Island hospitality!
