July 4th is approaching and for those who don’t have plans yet and want to know about some fun happenings in NYC read on.
Taproom 307, a rustic and tavern like bar in Murray Hill with a cozy feel, great beers and food, is having its Can Jam. This July 4th edition of Can Jam will feature a curated assortment of canned beers from all over the U.S., including: Avery Ellie’s Brown, Firestone Walker Easy Jack IPA, Founders All Day IPA, Oskar Blues Dales Pale and Mama’s Little Yells Pils & Sierra Nevada Torpedo. Pair one of these brews with the Taproom 307 Burger or a special Kobe Hot Dog (Yes, they do realize they’re deviating a bit from the All-American theme… but it’s Kobe!). Come in pre or post fireworks for a fun and delectable celebration. Great viewing of this year’s display just a few short blocks away on the East River!
Or for those who love the water…set sail for the 4th of July!
Manhattan by Sail is offering a close up one of a kind experience to see the awe-inspiring Macy’s fireworks display lighting up the sky over the East River. Have a front row seat to the action aboard Clipper City or Shearwater.
Your Independence Day cruise begins at 5:30PM on Saturday, July 4th and features a fully catered BBQ menu and open bar (beer, wine, mixed drinks, and speciality themed cocktails). Cruise past the Brooklyn Bridge, Governors Island, Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty as you are treated to unparalleled views of the fireworks.
