The Super Bowl LII is just a few days away! Do you have your game day drinks ready? What about snacks? For those of you still seeking the perfect cocktail to enjoy with the game, be sure to pair them with the proper snacks and appetizers to make your Super Bowl party complete!

Snacks

Captain’s Wing Glaze (serves 10-12)-  Courtesy of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum

12 oz. Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum

1 tsp. Chili Powder

6 oz. Brown Sugar

2 tbsp. Butter

Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

Pinch of Salt

Guacamole from La Loncheria- Chef/owner Danny Mena just opened La Loncheria, a casual Mexican luncheonette in Brooklyn offers a super simple recipe for guacamole that your friends will rave over at your Big Game gathering.

2 Chile serranos (seeded and deveined)

1/2 onion

Cilantro chopped fine

2 Roma tomatoes chopped fine

Juice of 1 big lime or 2 small limes

2 tbsp of salt

8 avocados

Directions: In a food processor, mix chilies and onion until to a fine texture. Then, in a large bowl, mix all remaining ingredients and with a large spoon start mashing the avocados until the flavors are well mixed and avocados are well mashed, without being a puree. Serve in a bowl alongside your favorite chips.

Mushroom Fritters- Chef John Lichtenberger at Péché in Austin, TX

2 1/2 lbs criminology mushrooms, chopped

1 1/4 cup milk

11 oz flour

11 oz grated Parmesan

1/8 cup truffle oil

1 1/2 tablespoon salt

1/4 tablespoon pepper

2 tablespoons chopped shallots

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

2.5 ounces butter

5 eggs

Directions: Sautée mushrooms until soft, then add shallots and sautée for 5 more minutes.Put mushroom mix into food processor and pulse until minced not paste.

In a large pan melt butter, then add flour and eggs and stir with wooden spoon. Then, add mushroom mix, cheese, salt, pepper, and truffle oil. Use a soup spoon to make bite-sized portions. In a deep pot, heat canola oil and use a thermometer to keep the temp at 350 degrees. Drop the mushroom bites into the oil and cook until browned.Blend your favorite herbs into sour cream and serve alongside for dipping. Serves 20.

Method: Splash of Grenadine, Top with Club Soda.

This cocktail features a liqueur made from real coffee so you can finish the game with as much energy as you started.

2 oz Carpano Antica Formula

1 oz Lock Stock & Barrel Rye 18 Year

1 tsp. Borghetti Coffee Liqueur

1 dash Mole Bitters

Method: Stir, Strain

2 X 750ml Trail’s End Bourbon

1 X 1L Quality Sweet Vermouth

1 X 1L Campari

Method: 2 oz pour on the rocks, garnish with an orange peel.

Jet City

2 oz Templeton Rye 6 Year

.5 oz Fernet-Branca

1 bar spoon Coffee Syrup

3 dashes Scrappy’s Orange Bitters 

Method: Stir & strain into a large rocks glass over ice. Garnish with an orange twist.

This cocktail features a MVP Vodka, launched by two former football pros, and is a lively drink to enjoy during the always-entertaining halftime show.

1.5 oz MVP Lemonberry Vodka

.75 oz Lemon juice

.25 oz Real cranberry juice

.50 oz Aperol

.50 oz St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur

2 Mint leaves

Method: Combine all the ingredients in a mixing tin and shake vigorously until properly diluted. Strain the cocktail using a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer into a coupe glass. Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint.

Smoked Mule- Courtesy of Crystal Head Vodka

2 oz Crystal Head AURORA

4 oz Lemonade

3 oz Fever Tree ginger beer

Smoked orange wedges

Method: Add Crystal Head AURORA, lemonade, and smoked orange wedges into a shaker with ice.  Shake very well then pour into a tall glass.

1 ½ oz Hochstadter’s Slow & Low Whiskey

2 pressed Jalapeños

2 oz pink lemonade

Splash soda water

Method: Combine and add a Lemon twist garnish.
