Fabulous Fall Cider and Food Pairing!

Who’s ready for Fun Fall Ciders!? These crisp, fruit driven beverages are great in the summer as we all know, but can also get you in the Fall spirit with the right food pairing!

IMG_0861      Crispin Cider is smooth, delicate, and the perfect cider for my Slow Cooked BBQ Spare Ribs, Cheddar Mashed Potatoes, and Sauteed Sugar Snap Peas! This meal was inspired after one sip of the Crispin Artisanal Reserve Hard Apple Cider. I knew I had to save it for a lovely dinner, but I must say it was difficult to put down after the first sip. Luckily it was a cooler rainy day so it absolutely set the mood to make a comforting dish, stay inside, and enjoy this meal. The cider made the tang in the BBQ sauce pop, while the cheddar mashed potatoes were the perfect compliment to the delicate, playful flavors of apple and baking spice in this cool, refreshing beverage.

What’s beautiful about Crispin Ciders is that they’re Gluten Free and made with several kinds of apples. Crispin puts a lot of time, effort, and dedication into their ciders and explains that, “in every gallon of cider, there is about 10Lbs of apples and or pears”-From Orchard to Bottle.

Be sure to check out Crispin Natural Ciders for more of their fantastic products. The Artisanal Reserve is absolutely gorgeous while the Fox Barrel Pear Cider is one you will enjoy with a lighter appetizer or even as an aperitif. IMG_0865
