Chef Billy Kooper of Route 66 Smokehouse!

I had the pleasure of cooking, chatting, and tasting with Chef Billy Kooper of Route 66 Smokehouse! This spotIMG_3285 has some of the best BBQ, whiskey, and  cocktail options in NYC. Between the mouthwatering menu and the excellent service, this spot should be at the top of your dining destination list!

IMG_3286         I would say this restaurant is a hidden gem that needs to be found by many more New Yorkers as soon as possible. Here chef gives you two BBQ sauce options which makes it fun to eat and very unique.

Chef Billy truly loves what he does and it absolutely comes through in the dishes he creates. Here in the video he shows us how to properly rub the Pork and make his Shrimp & Grits dish. He lights up the camera with his passion and creativity and it was such a pleasure really getting to meet the man behind the meals.
