27 Bastille Day on 60th St 2016 (c) SashaArutyunovaThe French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF): New York’s premiere French cultural center, is thrilled to once again celebrate the dazzling, and memorable city of Paris at this year’s Bastille Day on 60th Street. This is one of New York’s biggest and liveliest French events, and takes place on Sunday, July 10 from noon to 5pm, over a three block stretch on 60th Street.

This event is on Sunday, July 10th. Bastille Day however, is on July 14th. Celebrate twice that week with some more Champagne by Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte.

The One Four bottles, which retail for $13 /bottle for the 187ml, are available in Brut Reserve and Brut Rose. These are the perfect accompaniment to a Bastille Day soirée.

Brut Reserve

Pale straw gold, brilliant and crystal clear in color. This Champagne exhibits a nose of fresh white fruit, apple, pear, and peach combined with a bit of curry and turmeric spices. On the palate, the wine is clean, elegant, and complex upfront. Towards the finish it becomes delicate and fresh with a ton to offer. Pair this IMG_6773wine with some Fried Goat Cheese, Charcuterie, or Smoked Duck Breast.

 

Brut Rosé

Salmon pink in color, this Rosé champagne is boasting with red fruit aromas on the nose and intense developing notes of blueberry, black currant, and raspberry. On the palate it has a delicate mousse and fruity finish. Pair this Bastille Day beauty with garlic confit, tarte flambe, or fried calamari!
