On the palate it’s dry as it’s a Kabinett Halbtroken (picked when ripe, half dry) and one I think you and your Valentine will love. The Federalist Lodi: Both the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon & 2014 Zinfandel are great for the history buff in your life. The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is made with 5% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot which gives it some smoothness, cooked fruit notes, and purple tones. This deep wine is bold with smooth tannins and plenty of complexity.
The 2014 Pinot Noir is 100% Pinot Noir with aromas of cherry and oak. Rich chocolate intensity on the palate followed by a firm texture and finish. This wine is great for those that do and do not enjoy PN because I guarantee you will love this one!
The Legacy is a combination of 45% Merlot, 45% Zinfandel, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Syrah and is truly an incredible wine.
