WHYNOT Bistro: NYC

IMG_7320For those of you who love quaint little wine bars where you can enjoy great French wines by the glass with some small bites, WHYNOT is the best place to be. This dark but cozy spot is in the West Village, NYC and recently added WHYNOT Bistro. Chef Dominick Pepe is now serving Parisian Style Fare, which makes this artsy spot even more delicious. Here you can enjoy items like Steak Tartare, Baby Octopus, Scallops, and Chicken Liver Mousse. Of course you see these on many menus so what makes WHYNOT different?

Art is everywhere, live jazz is performed, and the marble bar is stunning. The staff are extremely friendly and when you are here, you feel like family. It’s amazing the dishes they produce here with such limited kitchen space, but Chef Pepe certainly makes some incredible Tartare and Scallops.  I enjoyed these dishes with a Red Burgundy and a Sancerre!

Be sure to check out WHYNOT Bistro this season and cozy up with a glass of wine and some nice jazz music. This spot is perfect for a date night, with friends, or by yourself…when you just need a great glass of wine.
