IMG_6437Van Gogh Vodka did it again, and this time it was a Lemonade Social! Van Gogh Vodka and The Cocktail Guru got together to give cocktail obsessed fiends like myself one ultimate mixer. Jonathan Pogash shook up some incredible cocktails while we tasted through all twenty-five flavors.

When I arrived, I was instantly greeted with a Strawberry Basil Van Gogh Cocktail. This was served in a mason jar, which seems to be the most fun way to drink a cocktail and mingle now a days. The Jalapeno and Pineapple Van Gogh Cocktail, IMG_6444which was also served in a mason jar, I surprisingly avoided for a while thinking it was going to be too spicy. This however became my favorite cocktail of the night. This one is sweet, refreshing, not so spicy, but you can certainly tell it has a little “something”.

This one is delightful and is quickly going to become a batched cocktail that I can keep in my fridge for all hours of the day and night (remember, I don’t judge people who drink really good vodka)!

Mexicue catered the evening, so these fruity and fun cocktails IMG_6440were able to pair very well with the BBQ Brisket, Tacos, and Green Chili Mac & Cheese. Earlier that day, I had lunch with Tim Vos, Master Distiller of Van Gogh, who stopped by this social to say goodbye to NYC for a while. What flavor of Van Gogh do you think will be your favorite?
