It’s Time for “Winter Wonderlamb”!!

Aussie Lamb Dish     “I love lamb…lamb, lamb, lamb, there the lamb goes, down into my belly, mmm, mmm, mmm”. Of course this is improvised from Anchorman and not the real “scotch” quote that the famous Ron Burgundy says in the movie, but i’m hoping it got your attention and made you want some lamb; or at least think about it!

This holiday season warm up with some great Lamb dishes! Eight Top Chef’s in NYC will compete to show their best Australian Lamb Dishes on their winter menu’s. This “Winter Wonderlamb” competition is taking place at 8 lovely restaurants, where the dishes will be judged, and the finalists have a chance to win a 10 Day trip to Australia!

The Restaurants, Chef’s, and dishes are as followed:  

The Brew Inn: Chef Charles Bivona III, will showcase his Grilled Lamb and Cheesy Grits with Tasso Ham!

 

Pig and Khao: Chef Leah Cohen will warm your heart with her Lamb Neck with Massaman Curry, Potato Puree and Kale!

 

The Thirsty Koala: Chef Katherine Fuchs will wow you with her Herb Crusted Lamb Lollies and Carmelized Pumpkin!

 

Annisa: Chef Anita Lo whips up some Lamb with Chickpeas, Harissa, and Black Sesame!

 

Public: Chef Kevin Chojnowski will amaze you with his Achiote Braised Lamb Osso Buco with Crispy Chestnut Polenta, Spiced Carrot Puree and Cara Cara Orange Gremolata!

 

Benchmark Restaurant: Chef Ryan Jaronik will wow with his Vadouvan Rubbed Lamb Loin, Carrot Gnocchi, Lollipop Kale, Hibiscus Bubbles!

 

Fort Reno BBQ: Chef Tim Coughlan dares to be different with his Lamb Hamwich!

 

Palo Santo Restaurant: Chef Alejandro Bonilla Manjarrez keeps it traditional and flavorful with a Rack of Lamb!

 

 

Be sure to check out any and or all of these amazing chef’s and their dishes this winter! These lamb dishes are fun, fresh, and exactly what you need to stay warm all winter long.
