Tierra Del Sol: Luxurious Villas, Golf Resort, & Spa

As many of you are aware (via social media), I was just in Aruba! This island in the Caribbean is one of my favorites to visit because the people are wonderful, the seafood is fresh, and it’s truly “one happy island”.

I had the pleasure this year of visiting a luxurious villa resort, spa, and golf course where I enjoyed a deliciously healthy lunch, while overlooking the serene 18 hole golf course. Tierra Del Sol is a one of a kind condo, estate home, and villa rental property where people can visit for a day of golf, drinks, and resort amenities including the on property spa, pool, and picturesque restaurant. The beauty of this place is that it’s on the end of the island where there are not many tourists, but you still have all the luxuries of hotel properties including stunning pools, lounge chairs, a state of the art gym, and so much more.

I was told to visit this beautiful spot not only for the amazing views and golf course, but to also try the Crab Corn Chowder; which is out of this world, YUM! After touring all 18 holes on the golf course, it was time for a martini. I started off with a creative mango one and the crab corn chowder. The chowder is served in a fresh baked bread bowl and is creamy, flavorful, and has the perfect amount of crab meat in it; they certainly do not skimp on the seafood here. I also had the pleasure of trying the Asian Tuna Napoleon, which is a beautifully plated appetizer consisting of black peppered tuna tataki, carrot salad, cucumber, celery, mint, cilantro, bean sprouts, orange sesame vinaigrette, wonton crisp and wasabi cream. Pairings wise: these appetizers would also have totally gone with a crisp glass of Champagne, however when in Aruba… i’m always feeling a fruity, cold, cocktail!

I didn’t just stop at lunch appetizers however, and enjoyed a delicious Smoked Salmon Panini for lunch on Pumpkin ciabatta, with mixed lettuce, capers, pickled onions horseradish, and an herbs flavored sour cream. It was the perfect portion size with bold flavor, unique flare, and delightful tastiness. If you’re more of a lunch salad person, seeking something packed with protein as well as flavor, I also highly recommend the Green Lentil Salad with mixed lettuce, chopped herbs, roasted garlic, tomatoes, green scallions and a balsamic vinaigrette.

For those of you seeking a top notch Caribbean destination resort, spa, and golf retreat with all the amenities of a hotel, as well as great cuisine, look no further than Tierra Del Sol. Here you can rent stunning villas with private pools, plenty of rooms, and so much more.
