Rosé and Lemonade: A Winning Combo!

IMG_7287Have you tried this new winning combination that’s taking the internet by storm? A lovely little wine cocktail to make all your summer sipping dreams a reality: Rosé and Lemonade! At first I was thinking this was going to be too sweet, however after using some incredible dry rosés from Provence, Washington State, and Italy, I am wildly impressed and completely convinced this will become your new “sipping addiction” (at least for me it is).

Rose with lemonade is delectably refreshing. It’s simple and perfect poolside or at a bbq using lemonade from scratch, which isn’t hard to make at all. I wanted to use the freshest lemons possible, so I chose to make my homemade lemonade with Limoneira lemons, which are always fresh, full of juice, and organic. These are some of the best lemons I have encountered and stay fresh for a long time in the refrigerator. As summer continues, it’s important to stay hydrated, healthy, and happy; rose lemonade does just that!

A bit about the wines:IMG_7288

Eufloria Rosé: Washington State, USA- 54% , 30% , 13% , 2% , 1%. Each varietal in the blend brings its special touch: Riesling is floral and brings that lovely acidity (we desire for sweet lemonade), Gewürztraminer is fruity with spicy notes, Muscat brings citrus aromatics, and Malbec a touch of color and strawberry aromas.

Unparalleled Rosé Cuvee: Provence, France- 60% , 30% , 10% . This wine is pale pink, with a bouquet of white flowers, melon, and tangerine. On the palate it’s delicate with fresh flavors of pomegranate and grapefruit.

Bolla Sparkling Rosé: Veneto, Italy- This wine is sparkling and fun with a light pink color and beautiful floral aromas. The bubbles are fine and persistent with a fresh, fruity flavor.

A bit about Limoneira: Limoneira Company, a 124-year-old international agribusiness headquartered in Santa Paula, California, has grown to become one of the premier integrated agribusinesses in the world. Limoneira (pronounced lē mon΄âra) is a dedicated sustainability company with approximately 10,700 acres of rich agricultural lands, real estate properties and water rights in California and Arizona.
