IMG_9452Nothing beats a juicy Bacon Burger with a Spanish Garnacha Rosé! It’s rosé friday and time to unwind with a glass of wine. The Grandes Vinos y Viñedos Beso de Vino Garnacha Rosé 2014 is bright, beautiful, and full of ripe red berries, balanced acidity, and a lot of fun strawberry, violet, and raspberry notes. This wine is “just off-dry” meaning there is a touch of residual sugar felt on the palate. Produced in D.O.P Cariñena, a not so well known but loved wine region for this great grape. The Varietal is 100% Garnacha: a grape varietal known for its fruit forward, mineral driven, and spice driven personality. This bottle runs for around $10.00 retail, so its not a bad buy and perfect for your weekend burger pairings!

IMG_9449Using organic ground beef, bacon, and brioche to create this mouthwatering burger, you and your Rosé will not be disappointed! The Rosé is dry, well balanced, and the fruit forwardness compliments the juicy burger and crispy brioche very well. The acidity in the wine is medium, medium plus making it perfect for a burger topped with lots of bacon!

Uncork your adventurous side this friday and enjoy this beautiful, fruit driven, and food friendly Rosé!

Always remember, eat what you like and drink what you love…
