Lambrusco is lovely for summer!

bott_lambrusco_shadowLambrusco, an Italian grape varietal known for its pleasant color and playful sweetness is wonderful when paired with Barbeque. Yes, this fun and funky grape compliments sweet, spicy, and tangy BBQ very well. The alcohol content in this wine is low, so it’s great for day drinking and brunches. Using Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce and adding some of your favorite ingredients like cinnamon, brown sugar, turmeric, and cayenne pepper, will make the ultimate pairing with the DivJna Lambrusco.

DivJna Wine, “it’s a love story”. This wine is a pretty ruby color with some bold magenta hues. This wine is slightly sweet and works well not only with BBQ, but with mild cheeses and red meats. Summer sips however call for backyard baby back ribs, spicy corn on the cob, and even some juicy medium rare burgers. Notice all these options will pair with the wine… Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself and pick up a bottle in NYC. Hash tag #SommStyle so I can see your pairings.

Always remember, eat what you like and drink what you love! Please pair responsibly.
