Sara Lehman is a trained Sommelier and Chef who is passionate about food and wine education. Working as a Private Chef, Sommelier, and Events/Marketing Consultant in NYC, she started her blog Somm In The City from inspiration and first writing for Melody Kettle of Hot From The Kettle (a very popular Montclair, NJ Food and Wine Blog). Somm In The City launched May 2013 and has skyrocketed Sara’s career and success within the food and wine industry nationally and internationally.

Sara is an Alumni of Johnson & Wales University, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Baking & Pastry Arts, Food Service Management and Entrepreneurship. Wine was a budding passion which she knew she wanted to add to her career and was offered the opportunity to receive Sommelier Training in Germany, at the German Wine School. She did just that and went on after to pursue higher advanced levels in wine and spirits.
Sara Lehman currently lives in New York City and works as a Food and Beverage Marketing and Events Consultant, Freelance Writer, Business Consultant, Recipe Developer, and Private Chef.
