The pandemic certainly isn’t over, but I have noticed more people gathering and enjoying time together again! Birthday’s are being safely celebrated (for the most part), trips are being taken, small weddings are happening, and the world is starting to feel somewhat normal. I have been to plenty of parties, showers, and outdoor socially distanced events and it’s been wonderful to be around people again. Now that we’re in the middle of the fall season, and it’s about that time of year for gift-giving, I wanted to show you some great finds that are ideal for this time of year. Whether it’s for a wine night in, a host/hostess gift, stocking stuffer, or just for you…. these fun finds are perfect for everyone you love!
The Caviar Company- The Caviar Co. is a San Francisco-based purveyor of fine caviar! This is one of the finest delicacies in the world, and with the upcoming holidays approaching, it makes a really unique gift. Those who think caviar retails for thousands of dollars might be surprised to know certain varieties of this salted roe come to about $10 per ounce, which is really a deal if you think about it. Whether you’re new to the caviar experience or consider yourself a connoisseur, The Caviar Co. is taking their business from the restaurants, to online. You can have caviar delivered to your home, as well as you can even host a luxury virtual experience! Join in the fun and purchase a flight for your very own at-home soiree. Starting at $75/virtual flight
Tea North Carbonated Teas- Few carbonated beverages can boast delicious flavors without the help of sugars and sweeteners, but there’s one iced tea changing the game in the canned beverage category. New to the U.S., Tea North is the certified organic, carbonated iced tea you’re going to want to try as the temperature rises. The award-winning Canadian Brand delivers mouth-watering flavors without compromise. Made from loose leaf tea instead of concentrates, these beverages contain no sugars, sweeteners, calories, or preservatives. It’s the perfect beverage to fuel your outdoor fun and it’s safe for those who have special dietary restrictions, such as diabetes. I also love using these teas in cocktails, to see all the recipes, click HERE! 12 for $30
The Flower Apothecary- An at-home bar doesn’t always have to be something alcoholic, so having some options for when you’re feeling “sober curious” is a fantastic idea. The Flower Apothecary uses flower essences that help with your mood, mental energy, and can help when you’re in need of a bit of relaxation. Formulated by a psychologist and certified flower essence therapist, The Flower Apothecary offers many options including Calm & collected, Pure Energy, Pure Confidence. These make a great stocking stuffer option as well as gifts for the upcoming holiday season! I myself of course had to try it in a cocktail and made myself a Confident Apple Cider Cosmo. It was really delicious and didn’t change the flavor of the cocktail, but I can say it certainly empowered my mood! $17-27
Pricklee Cactus Juice– These juices are from a Cactus Plant and help with recovery and hydration. Strawberry Hibiscus was one I tasted in a brunch cocktail, but if you’re looking for some recovery after a night of cocktails, this one was certainly refreshing! This product has natural antioxidants and electrolytes that our bodies crave daily, as well as after a workout or evening with alcohol. If you’re like me and you consume alcohol a few times a week for work, Pricklee will also help with liver damage and improve muscle recovery! They are really delicious, and I highly recommend them especially this time of year when we all start drinking more and inflammation is common. 12 for $29
Splitz Bars Chocolate- The highest quality gourmet chocolate that you’ll want to gift everyone including yourself this holiday season! The Sunny Mango Splitz is out of this world, and can be paired with a gorgeous bottle of German Riesling! I also really enjoyed the Raspberry Patch which I would pair with a Fig Moscow Mule! $9/bar
“Additionally, Lift is a veteran-owned business. The name is a nod to the owner and Chocolatier Brandon Busch’s background as a heavy-lift helicopter pilot in the United States Marine Corps. Major Busch served two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and continues to serve as a Forward Air Controller in the Marine Corps Reserve, where his fellow Marines have nicknamed him “The Candy Man.” – Liftchooclates.com
Boulder Chocolate– Also a part of the Lift chocolate company in Boulder. These bars are beautiful works of art, complete with crisped fruit on top of each seductive bar of dark chocolate. The Cherry Fennel is one of my favorites, and I enjoyed pairing it with a Portuguese red wine which I love, Silk & Spice. The Mango Hibiscus is a total winner, and can easily pair well with a Rum Old Fashioned cocktail! $8/bar.
Now that the holiday season is approaching, it’s time to start thinking about those stocking stuffers, virtual gatherings, cocktails, sweet gifts, and so much more. It’s great to get creative with your gifts, and pairing a bottle of vodka with a 3 pack of Pricklee, or a nice bottle of wine with some chocolate is always a great gift idea! Always remember, eat what you like and drink what you love. Please pair responsibly!
