The Flying Dog Brewery recently celebrated it’s 25th anniversary! Award winning Brewmaster Matt Brophy was there to share his insight, while also celebrating the company’s increase in sales by 600% in 2015 alone! To top off the evening, a preview of the newest craft beers: Fever Dream Mango Habanero IPA, and Oaked Chipotle Ale were unveiled and tasted. These two brews are a part of the highly anticipated heat series.
The team – led by brewmaster Matt Brophy, chief marketing officer Ben Savage and director of communications Erin Weston – kicked off the week with an exclusive press event at The Vine’s “Hidden Bar” in the Eventi Hotel. Filmmaker, actor and Happy Hour Guys host Jimmy Ludwig from led a Q&A with Brophy, detailing his 20-year career in craft brewing and how he channels the insane amount of creativity that comes from his brewing team.
Attendees sampled Flying Dog’s newest and most storied craft beers with food pairings from The Vine that included Fever Dream with Penang Curry Poached Lobster, Oaked Chipotle Ale with Charred Skirt Steak, Bloodline Blood Orange Ale with Cauliflower Fritti, Lucky SOB Irish Red Ale with a Kobe Beef Hot Dog in Puff Pastry and Doggie Style Pale Ale with a Meyer Lemon and Maple Cronut.
