The holiday season is full of entertaining. From parties to potlucks, social gatherings, and work parties, the entertainment is endless and many times i’m sure you’re seeking an edible treat to bring or buy, as well as a wine to pair with it. I happen to really enjoy President Cheese and use their Sheep Milk Feta this time of year in many of my appetizers, however the Brie and Camembert cheeses are also incredibly delectable and fun to bring or break out during a party. Fig, Feta and Prosciutto on Wheat Crackers: by Sara Lehman
*This appetizer is perfect for a cocktail party and friendly gathering because it’s easy to prepare ahead, have out for a while, and the feta is very mild and creamy.
1 package of President Sheep Milk Feta Cheese
4-6 slices of Prosciutto
TT Fig Jam
1 Sleve Wheat Crackers
Method: Arrange crackers on a plate and top with a tsp of fig jam. Spread so it covers entire cracker. On a cutting board, pull apart prosciutto into smaller long pieces and place on top of fig jam. Top with crumbled sheep milk feta, and a dried blueberry (if desired for garnish). *Note, if your feta stays together, you can cut it into small squares and wrap the prosciutto around it too.
