East Village Exploration: Cafe Mocha

IMG_2106    Located in the East Village lies a little espresso and wine bar. Café Mocha is a nice place for brunch and lunch with a wide range of menu items and great happy hour deals. They also offer dinner with nice priced bottles of wine, which makes for a great atmosphere during these summer days.

The Red Sangria is perfectly balanced with just enough wine to brandy ratio and tons of chopped fruit…. At $7.00 per glass, it is totally your money’s worth! IMG_2101

I stopped in one day between events to beat the heat and kill an hour. I decided to have a quick bite and gave the Mushroom Bruschetta a try. My taste buds were thanking me all the way to my next event because this bruschetta was delightful! It makes for the perfect afternoon snack on these gorgeous but hot days in NYC.

IMG_2103The staff is friendly and attentive so why not stop in for an espresso or coffee drink as they have many to choose from and there is plenty of seating. If you’re over in the East Village on 2nd avenue, Café Mocha should be on your check out list!
