Christmas is right around the corner… have you picked your wines yet? You know family is always much more fun with wine, so grab some of these great bottles!
Wonderful Whites: Whites are great to drink while cooking, upon family and friends arrival, and if you have light colored furniture! Here are my top choices for your Christmas festivities…
Rocca Sveva Soave Classico (SRP $15) – This Italian wine is crafted from hillside fruit resulting in high quality, crisp, and delightful wine. Great as an aperitif or with a variety of dishes including salads, grilled chicken or pork, and even seafood.
Schloss Johannisberg Riesling Gelblack (SRP $32) – German Rieslings are all the rage when it comes to having a lovely Christmas dinner! This wine is very aromatic and medium dry. Classic and crisp with distinctive notes of white flowers, citrus and pear. This one is one I will be sharing with only those who bring good vibrations this holiday season!
Beautiful Bubbles: Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles, oh how we just love those bubbles!
Mionetto Prestige Brut 187mL (SRP $5) – What better way to set some place settings, than to give guests their own mini bottle and straw? Ok, no straw, but how adorable are these!? This pretty Prosecco has bright notes of golden apple and honey which will please almost any palate.
Mionetto Prestige Brut Magnum (SRP $25) – Kick it up a few notches, and plant this Prosecco in the center of the table to let everyone know you plan to celebrate this holiday season! This also makes a great gift too, just tell them they better share!
Radiant Reds: Vivacious, bold, beautiful, and oh so delicious.
Capezzana Barco Reale di Carmignano (SRP $15) – A beautiful red for your buck! This Tuscan is a blend of 70% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Canaiolo. Enjoy it with pastas, grilled red meats and cheeses; or perhaps by a cozy fire with the one you love.
Pertinace Barbaresco Cru ‘Marcarini’ (SRP $55)– This wine is exceptional! A single vineyard Nebbiolo is the perfect wine to drink with those who are special in your life. However, if you’re looking to impress it makes or an excellent gift. This wine has notes of dried cherry, cedar, and mint, with supple tannins, excellent acidity, and a long, finish.
