Canned Wine: It’s a Summertime Necessity!

Have you tried canned wine yet? It’s easy, portable, and personal-sized, making it a summer necessity for barbeques, beach parties, and picnics. Now, with that being said, not all canned wines are created equal, and there are a lot of brands out there in the canned wine marketplace. I like to give them a try when I see them and have tasted a lot this summer. I have compiled them to a list of a few brands I really enjoy by the bottle, that also make their wines in a can!

Bonterra Wine: Organic and Biodynamic Winery

The 4-pack cans are available starting in June and retail for SRP $19.99:

Bonterra 2018 Rosé The wine’s aromas of strawberry, key lime, rosewater and hints of pineapple greet the nose, while a vibrant bouquet melts on the palate, with notes of ripe peaches, watermelon, and pomegranate.

Bonterra 2018 Young Red – This light red is meant to be chilled! It’s bright in acidity with hints of raspberries, watermelon, and pomegranate. On the nose, you will notice aromas of red roses, fresh fig, red berries, and orange peel.

Bonterra 2017 Sauvignon Blanc The wine expresses aromas of grapefruit, lime zest, and grassiness. On the palate, you will notice hints of grapefruit and kiwi with a nice, not-too-tart finish.

Santa Julia Organic Wines
